What You'll Own

Problem Structuring & Requirement Definition

• Take ambiguous business and user needs and translate them into clear, structured problem statements and solution requirements
• Produce high-quality, dev-ready specifications, including:
  
  • detailed user flows
  • edge cases and exception handling
  • clear acceptance criteria
• Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, and implementation-ready before development begins

Execution & Delivery Ownership

• Own delivery from problem definition → scoping → build → release
• Break down initiatives into well-scoped, prioritized workstreams
• Proactively manage trade-offs between scope, timeline, and quality
• Drive sprint execution with engineering and QA to ensure:
  
  • minimal ambiguity during development
    
  • low rework and defect rates
• Take accountability for delivery outcomes, not just documentation

Cross-Functional Alignment

• Act as the single point of clarity between business, product, and engineering
• Identify and resolve gaps, misalignment, and conflicting requirements early
• Communicate risks, dependencies, and trade-offs clearly and proactively
• Keep stakeholders aligned on what is being built, why, and when

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain a high bar for requirement quality and product completeness
• Identify gaps in flows, edge cases, and user experience before release
• Work with QA and engineering to improve delivery quality and predictability over time

What We’re Looking For

Core Experience

• 5–8 years experience in Product Owner, Product Manager, or IT Business Analyst roles
• Proven track record of owning end-to-end delivery of complex digital products
• Strong experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) for startup/scaleup companies

Execution & Thinking Style

• Highly structured and detail-oriented, with strong problem decomposition skills
• Can independently drive clarity in ambiguous or fast-changing environments
• Thinks in systems, edge cases, and end-to-end flows, not just happy paths
• Proactive and accountable, not waiting for direction to move forward
• Comfortable making trade-offs and decisions under constraints

Technical & Collaboration Skills

• Strong technical fluency (e.g., APIs, system flows, data structures) to work effectively with engineers
• Ability to write clear, precise, and unambiguous requirements
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive alignment and resolve conflicts

Preferred Experience (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise products with complex workflows and custom integrations
• Exposure to AI-enabled features or tools and understanding of AI technology fundamentals
• Familiarity with operations, support, or implementation environments
• Experience improving product delivery processes or quality standards

• Prefer focusing primarily on product strategy over execution and delivery
• Are uncomfortable working with incomplete or ambiguous requirements
• Prefer highly structured environments with fully defined processes
• Do not enjoy detailed requirement writing and working closely with engineering teams
